Winter Break: There will be no school on Presidents Day, Monday, February 20th or Tuesday, February 21st.

PTA Sponsoring Jeff Yalden (from our PTA News):  On Monday, February 27, Jeff Yalden, North America's #1 youth motivation speaker, will spend a full day with Heatherwood students.  Jeff is a teen expert and has spent over 20 years inspiring students with his "defining moments" messages about Character, Choices, Responsibility, Bullying and Self-Respect.  Jeff's unique style allows him to immediately connect with students allowing them to be more effectively impacted by his messages.  At Heatherwood, he will speak to the entire school in a powerful assembly, then work with each grade separately to address issues more specifically.  Additionally, there will be a parent event that evening so parents can personally hear Jeff's message and better understand what their students experienced that day at school.  To learn more about Jeff Yalden, check out his website at www.JeffYalden.com

Mark your calendars for Monday, February 27th to attend the parent event and to make sure your student is ready for an unforgettable event at school!  (THANK YOU, PTA!)
