This is my fourth year at Woodside and I am thrilled to bring my experience as a 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade teacher to my role as the technology specialist at our school.
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and attended UCLA and majored in Anthropology with a minor in Elementary Education. I received my M.S.Ed. in Education and Social Policy along with my teaching certification from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. I've taught in Los Angeles and Chicago before moving to Washington 10 years ago.
My husband, Bo, and I have been married for 19 years. We have 3 children who keep us very busy! Prior to moving to a new school district, my children attended Cedar Wood Elementary and Heatherwood Middle School so I was an Everett School District parent and volunteer for 7 years before coming to Woodside as a teacher.
When I’m not teaching, our family is busy with track and cross country meets, basketball games, band performances and watching Mr. Lim compete in triathlons in WA and Canada! We love the outdoors and have a family tradition of visiting a new National Park each summer. I also relish the times I get to read, garden, craft, cook from scratch, and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
It’s going to be a fantastic year!
