**UPDATE MONDAY MARCH 16, 2020**
Families and Students,
Whew! What a time this is. We are all in an “undiscovered” territory per say. With this we are all learning, teachers as well as students. Please be patient with me as I will promise to be with you as well as I and we learn to navigate this new world. With that said, I am planning on creating a folder in OneNote Notebook that will contain supplemental materials for the next six weeks. I am planning on creating the same folder in Canvas for parent access. For students, still expect to access, modify and add to this work through your Notebook. This is NOT assigned work nor is it graded, HOWEVER it will help you when we return to class. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me firstname.lastname@example.org
Welcome to another fantastic year!
I am very excited to have your student in my class this year and am looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, and development.
A bit about me...this is my second year at Heatherwood. I am very excited to be teaching 6th Grade Science this year! Teaching is my second profession....Geology was my first! I cannot wait to share my knowledge about the Earth and Earth's processes. I love ROCKS! All kinds of them, if you have a rock you would love to share with me, I encourage you to bring it in and we can have some great discussions.
Finally, I feel this pictures sums me up very well. I LOVE the beach!! Specifically those on the island of the Dominican Republic. This picture was taken on Saona Island which is a protected National Park in the Dominican Republic. Second, I am a HUGH Washington State University Cougars fan. I am an Alumni and enjoy returning to campus for football games in the fall. I have a new connection to campus...my daughter is attending WSU studying Veterinary Science. Go Cougs!
Please visit my classroom in Canvas for class information.
