American College Testing (ACT)

  • What is the ACT?

    The ACT is a national college admissions examination. Results are accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the US. 

    ACT components include:
    • Tests of academic achievement in English, math, reading, science, and writing (optional)
    • High school grade and course information
    • Student Profile Section Career Interest Inventory


    Who takes the ACT?

    Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to take the ACT. 

    When is the ACT administered?
