  • Turnitin.com

This website is where you will turn in essays to be graded. It does lovely things like noting commonalities between essays that might indicate plagarism, and identifies syntax and spelling issues for the teacher to see and to note in the grades.

Most of all this is where you turn your essays in.

You will need your class ID # and password.

    Period Class ID Password
Class ID         Password (one word--no space between the words)

    Then go through these steps:

    1.  Go to turnitin.com and click on New to Turnitin

    2.  Follow the instructions for setting up a userprofile.

    3.  When asked, enter your class ID and password.

YOU must keep track of your own login and password--you don't have access to it.  If you forget, you can click on "password help" and turnitin will send them an email with the info.

After this, you log in with your password and access/submit assignments. The work submitted will be saved on the site until the account isclosed.
