2014 Property Management Process

  • When the Community Resource Center (CRC) opened in November 2013, it made the former Educational Service Center on Colby Avenue and the Longfellow Building and Annex on Oakes available for other use.

The district drafted options for future use of the Colby and Longfellow properties and engaged a process to gather input and feedback from the public. The timeline for the Property Management Process is online.

The online Property Management Survey for future use of the former Educational Service Center on Colby Avenue and the Longfellow Building and Annex on Oakes Avenue was conducted from September 15 to October 10, 2014. The results from that survey are available here

At the December 9, 2014 school board meeting, the board made the following revisions, regarding use, to the Property Use Matrix.

    • Colby Avenue Property - revised the use to "sale"

    • Longfellow Building & Annex - revised the use to "Lease, or Sale, or Demolish"
