  • Dear Friends,

As we close out the 2019-20 school year, I would like to express a heartfelt thank you. Thank you to our teachers, students, families and community for all you have done this year. Our year did not end up like we thought it would in many ways, but through it all you have shown tenacity and dedication. Everyone has rallied together, and we all did our best. It was not an easy year, but together we finished well.

Please take this summer to recharge. It is a great time to read some books and reconnect with friends and family you may not have seen in a while. I hope it is a rejuvenating time for everyone.

Thank you for your support in my first year as superintendent at Everett Public Schools. What a memorable year! I appreciate you and look forward to how we can continue to educate and learn together in the years to come.

Thank you for finishing strong. Enjoy your summer.

    Dr. Ian B. Saltzman, Superintendent
