Superintendent's Message, January 25, 2021

  • Dear friends,

We are grateful for the outstanding partnerships we have with our school families, caregivers and community helping ensure students receive the best education possible while staying safe and healthy. While we are disappointed at the news the COVID cases in our county are still high, we are pleased to announce we had a great first week back in the building for Developmental Pre-K, Developmental Kindergarten, STRIVE and Life Skills students. We are grateful to be able to serve these students in person and thank everyone who helped make that happen.

We are also pleased that on Monday, February 8, we will be welcoming back students in learning model status 3, unless circumstances require a delay.

These families will be receiving information from their school with details and we cannot wait to welcome them back. We will continue to watch COVID case trend lines and follow appropriate health and safety protocol as we plan to bring more students back to the classroom in the future.

    Be well and be safe,

    Dr. Ian B. Saltzman, Superintendent
