The Otter Award books are for students K-5, and are early chapter books. These are great books for students as they use student input as a part of the voting process when choosing the winning book. Their motto is "books kids like, not books adults think kids should like."
The Sasquatch Award is a chapter book award. Fourth and fifth graders can vote for a sasquatch award book by reading at least two of the nominees.
The WCCPBA Award is an award given to picture books, voted for by WA state K-3 students.
The Towner Award is for nonfiction books chosen by a committee of WA state librarians
