I have been teaching for twenty nine years and twenty eight of those years have been at Madison!   I graduated from Western Washington University in Elementary Education, and have endorsements in Reading and Music.  I became a National Board Certified teacher in 2009 with a focus in Language Arts. Before becoming the Literacy Specialist, I taught Kindergarten through third grade, mostly looping from first grade to second grade. I enjoy working with the Madison community, facilitating reading and writing curriculum, and working to help Madison students be successful.
