    We will be examining American Government in detail focusing specifically on the Aspects Roles and Principles . There will be a significant emphasis placed on developing an understanding of the structure, organization, roles, responsibilities, processes, and procedures of the federal government as well as on the civil liberties and freedoms guaranteed in this nation. To assist in developing this understanding, direct connections will be made to current governmental actions and policies which will require students to become familiar with current events regarding related issues and governmental policies and practices.
