21st Century Skills
Everett Public Schools graduates are college, career, and life ready: They have the academic knowledge, attitudes, and skills to successfully transition to college level coursework, workforce training, and/or employment so they can adapt to the ever-changing world in pursuit of their goals.
21st Century Skills encompass citizenship, collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and growth mindset, forming a foundation for students to navigate and succeed in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. These skills encourage students to engage meaningfully with their communities, work effectively with others, express ideas clearly, approach challenges with innovative thinking, analyze and solve problems thoughtfully, and persevere through obstacles.
Together, they support not only academic growth but also personal development, preparing students to be adaptable, responsible, and empowered learners who can thrive in diverse environments and contribute positively to society.
