Mentor the Next Generation of Aviators & Engineers
- Do you have experience in aviation, aerospace, mechanical engineering, machining, sheet metal work, woodworking or general trade work?
- Do you have a high level of mechanical aptitude?
- Perhaps you are a pilot, engineer, A&P mechanic, veteran, or hands-on craftsman looking to share your passion and enthusiasm?
- We are seeking adult mentors to work alongside high school students as they build a fully functional, FAA-certifiable Vans RV-12 aircraft as part of our Aerospace Engineering and Aviation program.
- No prior teaching experience is necessary—just excitement for aviation/manufacturing, patience, and a desire to guide eager students through a life-changing STEM project.

Mentors cannot begin working with students until the volunteer application is complete and APPROVED.
- This application is for those interested in service as a School Day Volunteer.
- School Day Volunteers are volunteers who work in close proximity of district employees.
- A volunteer works under the direction and supervision of a district staff member and will be given specific instructions and necessary materials for assignments or tasks he/she undertakes.
- A volunteer is not a substitute for a staff member, but one supplying supplemental and supportive services.
- Once you receive your volunteer approval confirmation, please forward it to Danielle DeLuca so we can provide the passcode required to sign up to mentor!
