Programa Bilingüe / Dual Language Program

Parents are an integral part of the Dual Language program. The success of the students depends largely on the commitment and support of the parents involved. Initially, you will need to consider the following: 

• At least a six-year commitment (K-5)
• Regular school attendance by your child
• Strong commitment to your child by being supportive and involved in your child's education

Los padres de familia son parte integral del programa de dos idiomas. El éxito de los alumnos depende en gran parte de la entrega y el apoyo de los padres. Para empezar deben de tomar en cuenta lo siguiente:

• Comprometerse por lo menos a 6 años (de Kínder a 5to grado)
• Comprometerse con su estudiante dándole apoyo y participar en su educación
• Asistir con regularidad a la escuela 

Levels of boundary priority for the EPS Dual Language Lottery:

• Attendance area students ​​
• Attendance area siblings​​
• Students residing in the district boundary, but outside the attendance area, whose siblings attend the school ​​
• Students residing in the district boundary, but outside the attendance area​​
• Students of full-time certificated or classified employees​

Niveles de prioridad para la lotería del Programa de Doble Inmersión en las Escuelas Públicas de Everett:​

• Estudiantes que residen en el área de asistencia​
• Hermanos de estudiantes que residen en el área de asistencia​
• Estudiantes que viven dentro de los límites del distrito, pero fuera del área de asistencia y que tienen hermanos que asisten a la escuela​

• Hijos de empleados de tiempo completo, ya sean certificados o clasificados​

• Promote high academic achievement of all students and close the achievement gap
• Achieve true bilingualism and biliteracy for participating students
• Increase culturally responsive teaching throughout the school
• Foster, promote, and sustain cultural diversity and respect among students and their families\
• Promote a sense of unity throughout the neighborhood school
