Empower to Lead Summit
The purpose of the Empower to Lead Summit is to build space to promote awareness, networking, and inclusion around issues of social justice, leading to an increased student sense of belonging and positive action in their school community.

WHO CAN ATTEND:
This summit is designed for Everett School District high school students.
WHEN & WHERE:
- Friday, February 13, 2026
- 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Community Resource Center - Everett Public Schools District Office
SUMMIT OVERVIEW:
During the summit, students will hear from a morning keynote speaker and attend three workshop sessions of their choice that will be led by Everett Public School faculty and community members.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Lunch and district bus transportation will be provided.
- This will be an excused absence for all students attending the summit.
Permission packets will become available the first week of December. Packets will include a permission slip, photo release form, and dietary restrictions.
Due to limited venue capacity, approximately 50 students from each of the following high schools can participate: Everett High School, Jackson High School, Cascade High School, Sequoia High School, and Port Gardner K-12/Online High School. The summit registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cascade High School: Will be announced in the school year 2026-2027.
Everett High School: Will be announced in the school year 2026-2027.
Jackson High School: Will be announced in the school year 2026-2027.
Sequoia High School: Will be announced in the school year 2026-2027.
