What a wonderful job I have! I get to help our future grow and develop, a responsibility, privilege, and inspiration. I have always loved learning and after high school, I went to Washington State University (Go Cougs!) to earn a business degree. While I enjoyed marketing and working in the business world, I found my passion for teaching when I had my children. I attended the University of Puget Sound to get my teaching degree in Elementary Education. My sons graduated from high school and went to Tacoma Community College and Eastern Washington State University and I moved to Penny Creek Elementary. I have been in the Everett School District since 2005 and at Lowell since the fall of 2015.
My husband and I live in Arlington with our dog Dexter and cat Fiona. My hobby passions are family heritage, scrapbooking and stamping, reading, gardening, walking and hiking, and traveling. I lived a year in Germany and have gone back to Europe a few times. It's always time to go again!! I love to read all kinds of books: historical fiction, mysteries, realistic fiction, history books, crime novels, and more.
My goal for each of my students is to grow into life long learners. You can always contact me at email@example.com
