    Welcome to another fantastic year! 
     
    I am very excited to have your student in my class this year and am looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, and development.
     
    I teach 6th-grade Honors English Language Arts and 7th-grade Honors English Language Arts.
     
    I have also taught English 1, 8th grade English Language Arts, and 8th grade United States History.
     
    Before Gateway, I taught at Evergreen Middle School and in Kent. 
     
    I earned both my Bachelor of English and Master's in Teaching from The University of Washington.
     
    I have also earned my Doctorate of Education from Northeastern University.
