• Welcome to Mrs. Willoughby's website! I have been teaching Kindergarten for 3 years here at Emerson, but found a love of teaching from experiences before coming to this great school. I have a passion for teaching our newest learners by building the foundational social and emotional and academic skills needed for the rest of their school careers, and life outside of school.

    During the closure:

All of the resources for your use during the school closure and beyond are in the tabs to the left, or if you are using a cell phone, are at the top under "page." There are plenty of resources you will see throughout this page. Know that they are optional, but encouraged during our closure and have been chosen based on your children's interests and needs. There is a lot on here, just know we wanted to make sure you had enough to help support you and your student for the extent of the closure in order to support their engagement with the skills we have already learned. There will be weekly tasks posted each Monday and class meetings posted daily. :) Have fun!

Communication: I will be communicating with you as usual through Remind. You can also email me at awilloughby@everettsd.org

New teacher: Ms. Nanninga will be taking over as your child's teacher after Spring Break - Monday, April 13th when I go on maternity leave! We are excited to have her, and the kids already are familiar with her. It should be a smooth transition for you and your students! She will connect with you through Remind when I leave. Her email is enanninga@everettsd.org.
