    Welcome to Mrs. Willoughby's website! I have been teaching Kindergarten for 4 years here at Emerson, but found a love of teaching from experiences before coming to this great school. I have a passion for teaching our newest learners by building the foundational social and emotional and academic skills needed for the rest of their school careers, and life outside of school.

     Soon, you will be able to access more information about our class and myself on my Canvas page. 😉  

     

    COVID-19 Closure Update (2020-2021): As we navigate these new times together, I am here to help you and support you in any way you need. You will find a link to our Canvas classroom on my website soon. Although it is hard to have such a different start to our school year, I look forward to getting to know your students over the coming weeks, growing strong relationships, and helping your students grow and thrive. The most important thing is that you stay safe in these uncertain times. So much love to you and your family. Stay healthy, keep doing things that bring happiness to you and yours, and know that I am here to support and guide you through.

     

    A few things coming your way:

    1. Kindergarten Orientation: 
    2. September 3rd: An email from me to schedule our first meeting together (more info to come)
    3. September 2nd: Parent University available to view 
    4. September 9th-11th: WaKIDS Family Connections Meeting, scheluded in advance
    5. September 10th: 4-6pm Kindergarten Material Distribution (Drive- Thru) (this includes chromebooks and other learning materials!)
    6. September 14th: First day of Distance Learning! 
    • Supply List can be found here (I can provide some supplies, so please reach out!).
