Welcome

  • COVID-19 CLOSURE INFO:

    Welcome Parents, Guardians, and Families.

These are unique, difficult, and historic times. Please know that I'm here for you, as is all of EPS staff. I will be posting all assignments and announcements for students in Google Classroom. I will be update our digital classroom on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

    For 6th Grade students:

    • I will post two assignments for the week on Monday. These are due Friday.
    • On Fridays, students will have a digital "check-in" with me on Google Classroom.
    • This is our weekly schedule if you'd like to check in with your student.
    • I also have a 6th grade "At Home Digital Resource Guide" linked here and on the side panel that has a chart containing numerous at-home digital learning options for students. This will be updated as the weeks progress.

    For 8th Grade students:

    • I will post two assignments for the week on Monday. These are due Friday.
    • On Fridays, students will have a digital "check-in" with me on Google Classroom.
    • This is our weekly schedule if you'd like to check in with your student.
    • I also have an 8th grade "At Home Digital Resource Guide"  linked here and on the side panel that has a chart containing numerous at-home digital learning options for students. This will be updated as the weeks progress.
    • Since we are in a historic time, I have encouraged students to create a weekly news log. I encouraged students to report on ANY news story from ANY source and I provided an online template for students to record 3 facts from the event and a feeling, concern, question, class curriculum connection, or comment that they may have about the event. These events could come from news broadcasts, websites, the radio, television, etc. I am aware that sometimes the news can be overwhelming and scary. However, during any crisis in history, there have always been acts of kindness going on all around us. I reccomend using Good News Network to read wonderful stories to try to bring some positivity into the world.
