Ms. Rachel Shafer
Welcome to 8th-grade science. I graduated with a horticulture degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1988, and a master degree in education in 1994. I have been loving teaching science ever since. I earned my National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Science teaching in 2002. I have 2 children, Mikaela is in grad school at the University of Southen Mississippi and Shawn is working on his own business. I spend most of my free time hiking, climbing, cross country skiing, dancing, and doing puzzles.
