Welcome to Mrs. Hoyer's Website
Dear Forest View Families,
I hope that you are all healthy, safe, and surrounded by those that you love. Try to enjoy this unexpected opportunity we all have to spend time interacting with your family. Turn off your phones and your technology. (Gasp) This is a time that we may never have again, where we have the time to really connect with our families and friends. A few ideas might be to pull out a board game or work in the yard, read a book together, cook a meal, bake a new dessert, take a walk and notice the flowers beginning to bloom, create art, send cards to family members or to those that are sick. Find a way to spread kindness and hope during these uncertain times.
As the state continues to change the look of education we will continue to offer ways students can continue their learning from home. In their Tech Classroom I will continue to add weekly Flipgrid assignment and new challenges for your students to solve. For the next two weeks I want students to choose a topic that really interests them. Help your students or students to learn more about this topic and then create a fun and unusual way to share their learning using the Flipgrid post in their Google Tech Classroom.
I encourage students to continue to add to their Technology Journal. Pictures of them using technology, reading a book, baking, playing games, learning their multiplication facts or simply sharing their feelings during this historical time. Please continue to stay safe, healthy, and patient as we all work together to encourage and support our community and our kids.
If you have any questions or are having trouble getting connected please email me at email@example.com
