Advisory Councils
The district’s advisory councils help ensure that citizens’ experiences and voices are included in processes leading to major district decisions. It is important that these voices reflect the rich diversity of our community. Each community member brings a unique perspective and valuable insights to a council. Each will gain a broad and solid understanding and “big picture” concepts about facets of district operations.
As membership rotates over the years, the district and community benefit by having citizens who clearly understand and can explain to others the complexities of Pre-K-12 education in Everett Public Schools – and how ultimately all decisions are based upon what it takes to improve student learning.
