Welcome to Ms. Naffah's Class
Dear Students and Parents,
Now that we are aware that schools will be closed for the remainder of the year, we will continue with distance learning and introducing new material.
Starting April 13th, I will introduce a new unit- Changing Perspectives:Analyzing and Creating Arguments.
This unit is challenging and requires students to log online for every lesson and activity in order to understand the content. Please encourage your students to be active learners as this will affect their learning in the future.
Please note the following:
1. Lessons will be assigned weekly.
2.Lessons/assignments will be provided through Google Classroom and/ or Zoom.
3. Online assignments will be monitored and recorded weekly.
4. Feedback will be given in a timely manner.
5. Grades will not be assigned or recorded.
Please be advised that if and when I call students, I will be using a code which will ensure that my phone number will be hidden.
Thank you! Your support is very much appreciated.
As we make the move to online teaching, things will definitely look different and challenging for most of us. I encourage you to check your district- issued email and Google Classroom regularly as I will be using this platform to post activities, resources, and classroom assignments. We will also have classroom meetings via Zoom.
As we are all learning to adjust to this new virtual learning, I encourage you to stay engaged in learning.
Please continue to work on i-Ready and make sure to read take AR quizzes.
The best way to contact me is by email or phone ( see below). I can access my work voicemail from home and I will do my best to return your call/email asap.
