Finance & Business Services

Resource management is a district priority.
Finance and Business Services staff manage cash and investments, the procurement card program, and insurance and financial reporting processes.

All district staff and elected officials have some resource management responsibility. In the Finance and Business Services department, our staff provide professional oversight and expertise to monitor and support this priority as outlined in law and policy, and as stated in the strategic plan.

As a self-insured school district, Everett Public Schools is a member of the Washington Schools Risk Management Pool with more than 80 other Washington state school districts. "Pooling" many district resources and costs helps reduce insurance and legal costs for individual districts.
