Food & Nutrition Services

Everett Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services provides healthy, balanced meals to support student growth and learning in a safe and friendly environment. We are dedicated to building strong bodies and minds through quality meals and individualized service.

We offer breakfast and lunch every day at all schools, serving approximately 3,000 breakfasts and 9,000 lunches daily. All meals meet or exceed federal nutrition standards. Our programs include the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, After School Snacks, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grants, Summer Food Service, and USDA Food Distribution, all guided by USDA regulations.
 

The Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit (CNEEB) application helps families determine eligibility for free or reduced-price meals and other educational benefits.

In addition to free meals, families meeting income guidelines may qualify for additional benefits, including:

  1. Increased funding to support student learning

  2. Technology support and discounts for internet and some utilities

  3. Reduced college application fees

  4. Discounted SAT, ACT, and AP test fees, plus scholarship opportunities

  5. Healthy, nutritious meals for students

USDA Non-Discrimination Statement for Child Nutrition Programs

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form by clicking the button below from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
