Mrs. Beavers First Grade!

Welcome to Room 113's webpage!  First Grade is always a fun and exciting year as children feel more comfortable at school and continue making lasting friendships.  I am excited that your child is in my class this year and am looking forward to a year of learning and growing.  Teaching children to love learning new skills, ask curious questions, and to never give up has always been a passion of mine (since the age of 12 and I could babysit on my own).  I attended Seattle Pacific University for both my Bachlors and Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts.  I have over 20 years of teaching experience mostly in the primary grades (K-2)!  I am happy to be a part of the View Ridge Elementary Community.  Feel free to contact me at any time.
