MARGARITA ROSE

Thank you for visiting my website!  I am the English Language Arts Instructional Coach at Silver Firs Elementary.  Supporting high-quality instruction and instructional delivery is my focus as a coach. My work centers around partnering with teachers and teacher teams in professional learning communities that engage in ongoing review of our programs and supports.  I also support our building in collaborating around research-based "best practices" that allow proven opportunities for our students to grow both academically and socially.

As the SFE Instructional Coach I also serve as a liason between the district and our building; ensuring that our reading Learning Assistance Program (LAP) meets the standards for our state, supporting our LAP small group work, and overall program and curriculum implementation.  Additionally, I support our multi-language learners (MLL) along side our Multilingual (MLL) Instructional Coach Lauren Fortney. As a part of the SFE MLL team, we will work together to support our dual language learners make English proficiency gains while they continue to engage in multi-language learning.  

It is my belief that our students deserve a high degree of commitment, rigor, and ingenuity in the classroom. Each year will bring new triumphs, challenges, and opportunities for growth; we are stronger when we work together to support our amazing students.
