ONLINE EXPLORATION AND GAME: Students can have fun building shapes on a grid, then try the game.  The game gives requirements to be met, then checks to see if the shape meets the requirements. 5th graders may wish to start at level 3 and move up from there.

DISCUSSION PROMPTS:  Each situation is a "Would you rather?" with a mathematical element.  Scroll through the options and find one that's reasonable for your child's level.  Encourage conversation and explaining the WHY behind an answer.
