New superintendent search
The district has launched a process to find a new superintendent, and looks forward to engaging the community in the process. The selection of a superintendent is central to the direction of the school district in the future, as well as to continuing the exemplary work being done to graduate students on time and prepared to be contributors in a global society.
On Wednesday, May 29, the district will be holding a series of “meet and greet” sessions for the finalists for superintendent at the CRC. We are anticipating 3 finalists that day, but if there ends up being 2 or 4 this schedule will change.
Various groups will have the opportunity to meet all three of the candidates in a rotating 45 minute schedule. It is not an interview, but a time to meet the candidates and ask a few questions as well as allowing him or her to meet you.
We hope you can attend the time set aside for Community outlined below:
5:45 – 6:45 p.m. Candidate B
6:45 – 7:45 p.m. Candidate C
7:45 – 8:45 p.m. Candidate A
These meet and greet sessions will be at the CRC in the Board Room and will be moderated.
Other groups include:
Students (2:30 – 4:45 p.m.)
Teachers (6 - 8:30 p.m.)
Principals (1:45 – 4 p.m.)
School classified (6 – 8:15 p.m.)
Community (5:45 – 8:45 p.m.)
Plus presidents council, non-school classified, cabinet, community leaders and board.
If anyone can’t make their time, they are welcome to attend the community event in the evening.
