Progress made at Elementary School #18 - May 4, 2018
Site clearing has begun at 4419 180th St SE, Bothell for Elementary School 18. Many existing trees will remain standing to serve as a buffer for the surrounding neighborhood. Some of the timber harvested from the site will be used as benches and other site elements at the new elementary school.
Other trees are being harvested from the site with the root ball intact and will be used to enhance wildlife habitat in streams and wetlands in the region.
REMINDER: Boundaries will change for some students at these elementary schools beginning fall 2019 when the new Elementary School 18 opens.

A committee of parents and principals representing each of these schools has been studying current boundaries and recently recommended modifications to the superintendent.
Review the recommendation and share your thoughts online until May 25. The superintendent will review input and make a recommendation to the school board on June 19. The board is expected to finalize boundaries in fall 2018 – a year prior to the new school’s opening. Boundaries changes will go into effect September 2019.
Find more information about the boundary adjustment process online, or by contacting Dr. Gerard Holzman at GHolzman@everettsd.org or 425-385-4192.
