Locally, a student like this one could get speech therapy services within the school as well as outside. There is a great outpatient clinic that is associated with the Prosser Memorial Hospital that provides speech therapy services. Many parents take advantage of this during the summer when their child is not receiving services at school. There is a waitlist but once a child is through that the progress that can be made is significant.
