Dear Everett Public Schools community, 

Happy fall! As we settle into the 2026-27 school year, I am grateful for the energy and enthusiasm filling our schools. Each new school year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, and connect, and it has been wonderful to see our students and staff embracing those opportunities across the district. 

As I visit our schools, I see students engaged in meaningful learning, teachers creating welcoming and supportive classrooms, and staff working together to help every student succeed. From our youngest learners discovering new possibilities to our seniors preparing for the next chapter, there is so much to look forward to in the year ahead. 

Fall is also an important time for strengthening the connection between families and schools. Conferences, school events, and conversations with teachers and staff give us opportunities to come together around a shared goal: supporting each student’s success. Thank you for making time to participate, ask questions, and stay engaged in your child’s learning journey. Your partnership matters. 

We also want to make it easy for families to stay informed and connected throughout the year. ParentSquare, school newsletters, district updates, and our website are important resources for news, events, reminders, and opportunities to get involved. Strong communication helps us build strong partnerships and ensures our students have the support they need both in and outside the classroom. 

In the weeks ahead, our schools will be filled with activities that bring our community together, from athletic competitions and music and arts performances to family nights and celebrations of student learning. I encourage you to join us when you can and experience the talent, creativity, and school spirit our students bring to everything they do. 

As we move further into the fall, I am thankful for our dedicated staff, engaged families, and incredible students. Together, we are creating schools where every student feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
