Appearance

  • Tall upright shrub to 3 m tall
  • Leave short stalked, opposite and oval or egg-shaped
  • Leaves have 3 veins from the base
  • Fragrent white flowers, usualy with 4 pedals, about 2-3 cm across

  • Open forests and forest edges to moist edges of forests
  • Can grow on dry, rocky soil
  • Mostly in low to middle elevations
