- Naturally grows: the moister forests
- Grows: wide spread but never in bunches

Growth Habit
- A Huckleberry is a perennial shrub plant. It changes during different seasons by the leaves changing blaze orange and yellow in the fall. After it turns bright orange the Huckleberry goes deciduous.

Natural History
- Used by animals: the birds use Huckleberry as food and help dispersing the seeds
- Used by humans: Flathead Indians used the plant as medicine
