  • LAP Services at Cedar Wood
    Cedar Wood Elementary is receiving support from the state funded Learning Assistance Program (LAP). LAP is designed to provide supplemental support to eligible students who are identified as in need of additional assistance to meet state and local reading and math academic standards. LAP program particulary focus on students in Kindergarten through Fourth Grade who are behind in reading. Funds provide pull-out support during the school day, extended day classes and opportunities to include parents in the education of their children. Support can also be used in Fifth Grade and in math, once needs in reading are being addressed.
