  • Kindergarten registration begins Feb. 2

Although this school year is not yet finished, it is time to register for kindergarten for next fall.

Children who will be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2015, are eligible to begin kindergarten in September. To ensure that teachers and classrooms are ready, district elementary schools will begin registering kindergarten students starting Monday, Feb. 2 for the 2015-16 school year. Registration materials will be available via the district website on Jan. 26 and at elementary schools on Jan. 28.

Initial application for tuition-based full-day kindergarten ends Friday, Feb. 6 at noon. Lotteries will be held the afternoon of Feb. 6 at schools where applications exceed spaces.
