How do I sign up?
Everett Virtual Academy will be accepting NEW student enrollments for the 2022-23 school year through the online school transfer application process for resident transfer requests only.
Note: Only students new to EVA need to submit this request.

Will my child be with other grade levels?
Depending on enrollment in the program, some classes may be “split” classes where two grade levels are in the same class.

Does it cost anything to be part of EVA?
There is no cost to the program; all students K-8 who are residents of Everett Public Schools qualify to enroll.

What is there for grades 9 - 12?
Everett Virtual Academy is only for grades K - 8. If you are in high school and interested in online courses, speak with your counselor about options with Online High School.

Is the commitment for a full year?
We expect families to commit to their child participating in the program for a full year.

Will the school district still provide devices (chromebooks)?
Yes, the district will still provide a device for your student.

Who can attend Everett Virtual Academy?
Everett Virtual Academy is available to all students K-8 who are residents of Everett Public Schools.

If I enroll my student in EVA this year can they go back to in-person learning next year?
Yes, if your student is enrolled in Everett Virtual Academy for the 2021-22 school year, you may have your student attend in-person learning in the 2022-23 school year.

My student has an IEP/504, will this be served in the Everett Virtual Academy?
Yes, students with an IEP or 504 plan will be served through Everett Virtual Academy.

Will there be a list of school supplies? Where do I find that?
There is a school supply list under Our School menu option from the homepage.

How do I find out who my student's teacher is?
We will provide information about your child’s teacher within the week prior to school starting.

If we change our mind about EVA or in-person learning can we move once the school year has begun?
We ask families to commit to a full school year. The principal and counselor will be able to support your family if you need support after the school year has started.

Is it the same curriculum as taught in the in-person classes?
Yes, Everett Virtual Academy will utilize the same curriculum being taught through in-person learning.

How is this different than remote learning in the 2020-21 school year?
In the 2021-22 school year, remote learning through Everett Virtual Academy will be a five day per week program; a minimum of 70% of the school day will be synchronous and daily attendance is required. The school schedule will be available in August.

What do you do about classes like PE, art and band?
Classes like PE and art will be available to students as part of their specialist or elective time. For options for band, please contact us directly at eva@everettsd.org or (425) 385-5687.
