With the district-wide closure of Everett Public Schools, we have created a website that includes an initial set of materials intended to support students’ engagement in learning. The materials do not replace the experience of being in school but can help students maintain the learning that has taken place this school year. Click the headline to visit the page.

As we continue to work with local and state health officials to monitor and respond to the COVID-19 coronavirus, Everett Public Schools made the decision to postpone our April 28 bond. This decision was made after consultation with the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office and new social distancing guidance from the governor. District officials are looking at later dates this year based on the evolving healthcare situation. Click link for more info.
The use of cell phones in the classroom can distract students from instruction, yet can be important to have accessible in case of emergency. With this in mind, the district has adopted a new policy 3246 and procedure 3246P which prohibits cell phone use in the classroom while still providing access for students in case of emergency.
High school students who choose to bring cell phones and other personal electronic devices to school may only use them during transition periods, at lunch, and before/after the school day. Students are expected to silence their cell phones before entering a classroom.
