Welcome to the Strive Program at Jackson High School!!

My name is Katie Senouillet and I am so excited to be returning to 18-21 year old transition at JHS! We had an amazing year last school year and I'm excited to see what amazing things we accomplish this year!

I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Master of Art in Teaching (MAT) degree and from Adams State University with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling (MA). I have a strong passion for transition and helping young adults obtain vocational and community experiences. I am very excited to work with and get to know your student this year as we explore their transition goals and opportunities.

School Closure Update as of 3/17/2020:

While I continue to be on maternity leave, Tennille Anderson has accepted the position as my long term sub until I return to STRIVE on May 18, 2020. Her contact information will be provided shortly.

Throughout the school closure, I will be uploading activities onto this webpage. You can find the activities by clicking on the link 'School Closure Virtual Learning Opportunities'. Packets with similar activities were sent home on Friday, 3/14/2020. Additional activities will be added weekly. These materials and activities are being provided to help families continue to keep their students engaged in learning during this unprecedented closure. If you have any trouble with accessing material for your student, please email Cindy Hedden at chedden2@everettsd.org until Tennille's contact information is available. Our team is happy to mail you paper copies of any materials found on this webpage.

For students who receive services from our SLP, Rebecca Wynne, follow this link Rebecca Wynne (SLP) EPS Website to access her Everett Public School webpage.
For families who have not yet had your student's annual IEP meeting this year, Tennille will still be reaching out to you. We will still be holding meetings at this time through either phone conference, Zoom, or another format.
Please be aware that during this school closure we are NOT replicating classroom instruction which is the same for special education and related service delivery. We are NOT replicating IEP minutes and not providing direct services. We ARE here for you and your family and want to help keep your student engaged in learning because we want to help support the maintaining of their skills! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time!
