  • Cougar Movers

    The school year is almost over which means Cougar Movers is coming to an end. We will be running this Friday, the 31st, but also next Thursday AND Friday, the 6th and 7th, to allow students and staff that are close to completing marathons to finish! This info. will be in our Sunday PTA newsletter and posted on our Facebook page, but please share the info with you class as well. We run from 8:15-8:55am.
    We will be celebrating all marathoners at the start of Field Day on the 11th. We have had a record number of runners and marathoners this year!

  • Summer Reading Book Fair:bogo

    Buy One Get One Free Summer Reading Book Fair to help kick of our Summer Reading Program. This will take place only during each classes library
    time. Kids may bring money or set up and eWallet to purchase books during their library time. Information will be sent home about this at the end of the month. 

    Friday the 14th there will be an open hour after school for families to come from 2:15-3:30pm

    We Celebrate Cultural Diversity
    at MCE

    MCE and all of the elementary schools in the Everett School District received an Equity Grant of $3,000. This money was used to purchase a variety of culturally diverse library books. We were able to purchase 180 books with this money to celebrate different cultures around the world.

  • Before and After School Programs

    Registration is open for winter before and after-school programs!  Classes offered this session include returning favorites Art, Chess Club, Tennis, Bricks for Kidz, Basketball, and Sport Spectacular! We are also excited to offer a NEW 16-week Spanish class with Foreign Language for Youth. Most classes will start the week 1/14 and still have availability, but register soon!

  • Free Homework Help/Tutoring
    Sno-Isle Library system is giving students access to free homework help online.  Students can chat online with tutors, many of whom are retired teachers, for guidance in math, science, social studies and english.  Drawing and diagramming features allow the tutors to demonstrate math and science concepts.  The tutors can even critique the rough draft of a term paper.  Help is available in English & Spanish.  Follow the link below and click on "homework help".

  • New Attendance Procedure

    Attendance excuses are now only accepted in written form.  If your student will be absent or tardy from school please use the email link below to notify the school.  If you leave a message on the attendance phone line you will be required to also either send an email or send in a written note to excuse your student.
