Welcome to Mrs. Camp's Website for 6th and 7th Grade Math

    Dear students and families,

First off, I hope you are safe and healthy. I know there are many questions about your education and workload during this extended closure. Although I do not have all the answers, I do have a plan for math

Your child should expect to spend about 20-30 minutes doing math each day Monday - Friday. By each Sunday night, I will have the following week’s lessons posted in our Google Classroom, and a daily summary on my classroom website. I will also send an email update since I know most parents don't have the same access as students. In addition to the activities I assign, there will be opportunities for live math games, video conferences, and virtual office hours.

I will rely heavily on email and learning platforms your children are already familiar with. I will also be on email Monday - Friday and get back to you or your child in a timely manner. Lastly, there are links below for Chromebook tech support and translation assistance. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work through this uncharted territory, and please know that I am always here to help. Stay healthy and in touch.

    All the best,

    Mrs. Camp

Greetings!  My name is Rebecca Camp and I am thrilled to be teaching math at Eisenhower Middle School! Before joining Eisenhower, I taught for 13 years at  Jefferson Elementary, also in Everett. I completed my Master of Teaching Degree at the University of Washington and I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Human Development from California State University, Hayward.

When I am not teaching I spend most of my time with my family- outdoors if possible.  My family includes my husband Scott, daughter Sienna (13), and my son Marcus (10). We enjoy riding bikes, hiking, exploring museums, watching movies, and my all-time favorite, reading!

My website will has lots of useful math information, so please visit often and don't hesitate to contact me if you have suggestions, questions, or comments. I look forward to an engaging and productive year of learning!
