    Hello Students and Families!

Despite the challenges that come with being isolated, more students are turning in work online. I have several students that reach out by email whenever they have a question and this is great. Keep asking questions and be persistent with your studies. It's a tough time for families and students as we try to find routines that work for us at home - be kind to yourself and know this is an adjustment for everyone. Remember we can be flexible, forgiving and helpful - you can do it!

Keep up the hard work - students cannot afford to lose their progress. Remember - your brain is a muscle and needs to stay fit with daily exercise! Please review the district website as it compiled resources for families specific to grade bands to help students stay engaged in their learning. Also, please click on the links to the left for Weekly Activities for 6th grade ELA and 8th Math. Scroll down through the document to get the latest Weekly Update. I will also send the same information to you in an email and will post it on my google classrooms.

    Take care and be well,

    Mrs. Gomez
