Welcome to Mr. Whitney's 8th grade Science website. I have been teaching science for Everett Public Schools for 21 years. I earned my Bachelors degree in Eastern European Studies from the University of Washington and my Masters in Education from Western Washington University. I began teaching when I was 34 years old which gave me enough time to experience life from many perspectives. Some of my previous jobs/vocations include the US Army, sales, truck driving, bouncing, and construction. I believe my varied background helps me better connect with all students and parents. I look forward to working with all of you to foster success in our classroom.
