The Emma Yule Society is named to honor Emma Yule who served as Everett's first and only teacher in December 1891. She later became the district's first principal and served as superintendent from 1897 to 1900. Through her leadership and pioneer spirit, early Everett's youth had the advantage of a good education

Our giving society has three benchmark levels of giving each year to provide this avenue of support. Your extraordinary commitment will help us build our program of service to assist even more students.Emma's Angels donate at $1,500 or more ($125 per month or more). Benefits include: All special invitations, named classroom grant, plus a special invitation to an evening gathering to honor your commitment. Attendees will included Emma's Angel members, district staff and Foundation board members.Emma's Circle members donate at $1,000 to $1,499 ($84 to $124 per month). Benefits include: All special invitations plus a designated classroom grant named in the donor's honor to be shared with the recipient teacher.Emma Yule Society members donate at $500 to $999 ($42 to $83 per month). Benefits include: Yearly invitations to special events honoring our staff and students.
All donors who qualify for our giving societies will receive an invitation to our Superintendent Scholar Award function each spring that honors top students and their most inspirational teachers. This is a moving event and honors excellence in the Everett Public Schools.
