    About Mrs. Jaton

This will be my third year teaching 1st grade and my 16th year in education. I went to college at Lesley University (Go Lynx!) and received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Math and Computer Technology in 1993. My first teaching job was in Cape Cod, MA with 5th graders at Brewster Elementary. After spending time raising my children, I taught at Everett Christian School, working in a 3rd/4th grade classroom. Later, I worked as a para-educator and substitute teacher in the Everett Public Schools. In 2019, I started working at Garfield Elementary, first as a Behavior Specialist and, for the past few years, in 1st grade.

I have lived in North Everett for over 20 years and love this community.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking and walking my dog Noodle.
