Welcome to Music at Garfield Elementary! All students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade attend Music as one of their Specialist classes at Garfield. K-2 classes are 36 minutes long Monday-Friday and 3rd-5th grade classes are 45 minutes long Monday-Thursday. In Music we learn to read rhythms, sing, play instruments, move, create, perform, listen critically, and have a joyful time. 

Students, head to my Canvas page for lots of games, activities, favorite songs from class, music library, class photos, and material for assemblies and concerts! If you need help getting into Canvas please come see me before or after school!

Each year we have an all school Music Concert - you can find past concerts on YouTube by searching Garfield Elementary Music Concert, they're all held at the Everett Civic Auditorium.
