The Everett Public Schools Foundation is pleased to announce our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Grants. These grants will support student-led work that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion within their school communities—such as trainings, awareness campaigns, or events that celebrate differences. The EPSF will award Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Grants of up to $1,000 to support student-led projects. Eligible projects must align with one of the following diversity, equity, and inclusion focus areas and demonstrate a meaningful, positive impact on the broader school community. Grants are one-time and not renewable.
Grant Priorities- We prioritize projects that:- Aim to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and have a positive impact within your school community.
- New grant proposals will be prioritized.
Before You Apply: Please read this application carefully. Incomplete applications, or those that don't align with the Everett Public Schools Strategic Plan and the foundation's mission, will not be considered.
Plan Ahead: Your Application must have:- Principal Approval: Your principal must sign off on your grant application.
- District Staff Sponsor: You must have a district staff member/club advisor as a sponsor for your project.
Important Note: Applications must be completed at one time. Partial applications cannot be saved. We recommend printing the list of questions and preparing your responses in advance. Grant Details:- Deadline: Wednesday, October 22nd at 11:59 pm
- Available to middle & high school students, student clubs, and classes.
- Grants will be awarded up to $1,000 per project.
- Only one application per student/club. A school can submit multiple grants for different student projects.
- Staff salaries are not eligible expenses.
- Funds must be used during the school year the grant was awarded.
- Funds will be placed in your school's budget. Unused funds will revert back to the foundation.
- Submit receipts to your school office.
Evaluation Process:- Each application will be reviewed, evaluated, and scored by the Foundation's DEI Committee and Student Board Members.
- Grants will be awarded in mid-November.
- The information included in your application is public and will be used in publicity, funding acquisition efforts, and donor reporting.
Grant Recipient Expectations:- Complete a Grant Evaluation Form before the end of the school year.
- Share stories showcasing the impact of your project. Include photos and videos (FERPA approved).
