Congratulations to our 2021 Superintendent's Scholarship Award Finalists!
Since 1987, the Superintendent Scholar Award has been supported by the Everett Public Schools Foundation. This award was instituted in 1983 by Dr. Rudy Johnson, former superintendent of the Everett Public Schools to honor students for their academic excellence. In 2018, Drs. Gary and Sue Cohn began sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship for each of our winners.
Three finalists are selected from each high school that are in the top 5% of their graduating class according to GPA. The finalists are then interviewed by a selection committee made up of community members, EPS staff, and EPS Foundation board members where a winner is chosen from each high school. Along with this award, each finalist is asked to select a staff member that they would like to honor who made a difference in their lives.
