• Everett Public School’s 2025 Superintendent’s Scholarship Award for Excellence winners

Four exceptional seniors from Everett Public Schools were recently surprised with the prestigious 2025 Superintendent’s Scholarship Award for Excellence. Superintendent Ian Saltzman, School Board Vice President Jen Hirman, Deputy Superintendent Peter Scott, Executive Director Kay Fantin of the Everett Public Schools Foundation, and school principals honored the recipients in special ceremonies held at their respective schools.

Now in its 38th year, the Superintendent’s Scholarship Award for Excellence celebrates the district's top scholars for their academic achievements and resilience while also recognizing an inspirational educator who has made a significant impact on each student’s journey. Each winner received a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Drs. Gary and Sue Cohn.

To be considered, students must rank in the top 5% of their graduating class and submit a tribute highlighting a staff member who has played a pivotal role in their education. These heartfelt tributes were transformed into moving video features available on the Everett Public Schools Foundation’s social media platforms.
