The Everett Public Schools Foundation is proud to offer classroom grants that ignite curiosity, creativity, and meaningful learning. These grants are designed to enhance the district’s core curriculum by supporting innovative, hands-on projects that engage students in real-world experiences. Whether exploring diversity and equity, developing critical and creative thinking skills, or diving into music, fitness, the arts, and field-based learning, our goal is to fund ideas that inspire students and make learning unforgettable.
Grant Priorities – We prioritize projects that:- Spark student excitement and engagement.
- Provide real-world, experiential learning.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Build creative, critical thinking, and practical skill sets.
Before You Apply – Please read this application carefully. Incomplete applications, or those that do not align with the Everett Public Schools Strategic Plan and the foundation’s mission, will not be considered.
Plan Ahead – Your application:- Must be reviewed and approved by your principal before submission.
- Must align with district curriculum guidelines.
- May require a LITS review if your project involves technology. Please refer to the district website under Technology Equipment Standards for guidance.
- Must follow district purchasing guidelines. Purchase only approved materials. If needed, complete a Supplemental Materials Form.
Important Note – Applications must be completed at one time. Partial applications cannot be saved. We recommend printing the list of questions and preparing your responses in advance.
Grant Details- Application Deadline – October 22, 2025, 11:59 PM.
- Grants Awarded – mid-November.
- Individual Grant – Up to $500.
- Team Grant – Up to $1,000 to use across multiple classrooms, a grade level, or school-wide.
- Grants are only available to certificated staff.
- Multiple applications may be submitted, but only one grant will be awarded per applicant.
- Funds may be used for materials, transportation, subscriptions, or fees.
- Staff salaries are not eligible expenses.
- Funds must be used during the school year in which they are awarded.
- Unused funds will revert to the foundation.
- Receipts must be submitted to your school office.
Grant Recipient Expectations – All grant recipients must:- Complete a Grant Evaluation Form before the end of the school year.
- Share stories showcasing the impact of their project. Include photos and videos (FERPA approved).
- Be available to attend one of three Foundation Benefit Events to share their grant with the local community:
3/16/26 – Cascade High School * 3/18/26 – Everett High School * 3/31/26 – Jackson High School
Evaluation Process- Applications will be reviewed and scored by community volunteers.
- Most reviewers are not educators, so avoid jargon and keep language clear and simple.
- Grants will be awarded in mid-November.
- Application content may be used for publicity, donor reporting, and future funding efforts.
