The current Jackson Elementary School was built on today’s site in 1948. The original eight-room Jackson School was built almost 50 years earlier, 1902 on the 3600 block of Norton Avenue. Jackson Elementary School has benefited from several renovations – in 1967, 1993 and a renovated playfield in 2000 and 2006.
